In the Light out of the Darkness
Passage 1 John 1-3:2
Preached by Nathan Neese
If we go around telling people that we do not sin, we are lying to ourselves.
God is truth.
God is love.
God is light.
We have an advocate with God “hereby we do know that we know Him if we keep His commandments” (1 John 2:6). God will be there for us when we need Him. If you know Him you will try to keep His commandments.
When God’s love comes into our lives, we know what perfect love is.
Listen to God.
Listen to His love.
If you abideth in the light, you are abiding in Him, because He is light, (1 John 2:1). This life is too short to be living all your life in the “the world”.
No matter where you are in your walk with God, this message is still for you. You may be a new saint or an old saint, but you still need to hear this.
“Because that darkness hath blinded his eyes”, (1 John 2:1). What gets you out of the darkness is the Light.
If we love the things of this world, we are no longer a part of God.
When God anoints you, it’s not the end. He’s not done with you, He stays with you. The greatest power is when God anoints you, (1 John 2:27). God’s love is perfect, infinite. The message didn’t start t the beginning, He started the beginning with love.
God put us on the page with Him. We don’t deserve it, but He still put us there, He anoints us, blesses us, loves us and we did nothing to deserve it. Take a moment to thank God, seek Him as He sought us.
